[WASHINGTON, D.C.] ? Assistant Senate Majority Leader Dick Durbin (D-IL) introduced Sara Darrow at a April 13th, 2011, hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee on her nomination by President Obama to fill a vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois. Her nomination is expected to receive a vote in the committee within the next few weeks. If approved, her nomination will receive a vote by the full Senate.
U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Mary Ann MacLean Play Museum. Initial planning for the museum was funded through a $150,000 federal grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
