41st Street Pedestrian Bridge

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) joined Mayor Rahm Emanuel, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (D-IL-05), Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) Commissioner Rebekah Scheinfeld and Alderman Will Burns (4th Ward) to announce that the City of Chicago has received a $18.7 million TIGER grant to construct a new 41st Street bicycle-pedestrian bridge on Friday, September 12 in Chicago. The bridge will provide Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood with better and safer access to the City's lakefront and lakefront trail.
