Delaying Swipe Fee Reform

[WASHINGTON, DC] - On June 7th, 2011, Durbin spoke on the floor of the United States Senate against a proposed delay in the implementation of new swipe fee reforms. Swipe fees are supposedly charged by Visa and MasterCard in order to cover the cost of processing a credit or debit card transaction.
