[WASHINGTON, DC] - Durbin spoke on the floor of the United States Senate on June 6th, 2011, about the need to implement swipe fee reform without delay. Swipe fees are supposedly charged by Visa and MasterCard in order to cover the cost of processing a credit or debit card transaction.
