Passport

The U.S. Passport agency provides passport status information as well as in-person appointments at 877-487-2778. Please note that the U.S. Passport Agency is experiencing an unprecedented number of requests for emergency appointments and is prioritizing those traveling within 72 hours.

Sen. Durbin’s office may make an inquiry regarding the status of a passport, but is required to provide a Privacy Act Release form signed (ink signature) by the recipient of the passport or in the case of a minor, their legal guardian.
