The Marseilles Dam

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) visited Marseilles to take a firsthand look at the recovery efforts following the flooding in April. Durbin and Mayor Patricia Smith will travel by boat to the construction site where the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is working to repair the damaged Marseilles Dam, which was struck by several barges that broke free of a tugboat during the flooding.
